Trivia Director Jim Wynorski made a bet with Roger Corman that he could shoot the movie in twelve days. Wynorski finished the film in eleven and a half days. Goofs Throughout the film the Davanna aliens constantly and scientifically refer to human beings as "subhumans". A subhuman is a species other than and lower than human. If the aliens are meant to be using this term to imply that they feel that their species is superior to humans, than it would only make sense for them to call human beings sub-Davanna.

Top review. Not all that bad. This was a cheesy remake of the cheesy original "Not Of This Earth". They seem to have kept the plot and most of the dialogue intact while throwing in a lot of large-busted topless nudity. All that made it memorable for me was Traci Lords starting a "legitimate" film career after fooling a lot of people for a long time. While she's no Meryl Streep, she has talent and an undeniable screen presence.
I think her previous career has limited her opportunities Back to the movie I think they had fun making it, and left in some bloopers for viewers to find.
